On the Creation of (Western) Global Spaces is a webcast series coordinated by gloknos Associate Member Luis Lobo-Guerrero (University of Groningen) that introduces the trilogy of volumes on connectivity that Prof Lobo-Guerrero developed for gloknos's book series on Global Epistemics with publisher Rowman & Littlefield.
In the second installment of this series, Michael Hicks interviews Prof Jeppe Strandsbjerg about his chapter 'Freezing Cartographic Imaginaries', in Mapping, Connectivity and the Making of European Empires.

'Imaginaries of Connectivity: The Creation of Novel Spaces of Governance' was edited by Luis Lobo-Guerrero, Suvi Alt and Maarten Meijer, and was published by Rowman & Littlefield International in 2019.
'Mapping, Connectivity, and the Making of European Empires' was edited by Luis Lobo-Guerrero, Laura Lo Presti and Filipe dos Reis, and was published by Rowman & Littlefield International in 2021.
gloknos is initially funded for 5 years by the European Research Council through a Consolidator Grant awarded to Dr Inanna Hamati-Ataya for her project ARTEFACT (2017-2022).
