Getting to Cambridge
By Road
Information about the main routes into Cambridge is available from the University Map. For the most direct route to CRASSH, exit at Junction 12 of the M11 and follow the A603 (Barton Road) and then the A1134 (Trumpington Road) to West Road. Please note that during office hours (9am – 5pm Monday to Friday) parking is not permitted on the Sidgwick Site, except by permit holders. At weekends, parking is freely available on the Sidgwick Site (entrance off Sidgwick Avenue). There is also pay-and-display parking on some of the streets around Sidgwick Site for up to 4 hours (Sidgwick Avenue, Queen's Road, West Road).

By Rail
Cambridge is less than an hour away from London by train with frequent departures from King's Cross and Liverpool Street stations. Timetable information is available from National Rail. Taxis are available for hire at Cambridge Station, which is approximately 1 mile from the city centre. The walk from the station to CRASSH takes about 40 minutes.
By Coach
The central drop-off point for bus services is at the city bus station on Drummer Street (indicated on the Regional Roads Map) or Parkside. Information and timetables can be found at National Express.
By Air
Cambridge Coach Services run an hourly bus service to and from Stansted, Luton, Heathrow and Gatwick airports (telephone +44 (0)1223 423900). Railway service is also available from Stansted (for more information see National Rail Enquiries or from the UK call National Rail Enquiries 08457 48 49 50).
